In 2008, we decided to resurface all 8 clay courts by smoothing the substrata and adding fresh clay.

The 8 clay and 2 hard courts have professional lights and will fulfill all of your tennis, racquetball, and fitness needs. Want to take a lesson? db’s staff includes highly trained tennis professionals to fine tune your game. If tennis isn't your game, how about racquetball? db offers the only air conditioned indoor courts in Gainesville. Instruction is also available. Every fitness buff will enjoy a complete work out in our fully equipped fitness center. Build your body lifting weights, or trim up on the treadmill, stationary bike, or stair master. Need some personal attention? Our fitness director offers programs to suit all of your personal training needs. To cool off, jump into our pool . Separate pool memberships are available for the summer months. As a member of the club, you'll play in the frequent tennis mixers we host every week or so. During USTA league season, play on one of our many teams from all levels. Whether you're a junior or senior, male or female, beginner to advanced, we have people ready to challenge you. New! Early Release Day kid’s clinics starting Nov 5th-Wednesdays 1:30-2:30 for kids ages 7-12.  Six weeks only $50. 

 

The drawings are in for the new club house.  Thanks for all your suggestions.  It truly will be a “kick a**” facility.

 

Congratulations to Kathleen Fox’s women’s 6.0 , Ed Austin’s Men’s 7.0, and Dean McCarley’s Men’s 8.0 teams on winning their respective divisions locally and advancing to the sectionals.

 Starting December, morning reservations will be taken from 8:45 to 9:00 AM with afternoon reservations taken from 9-9:15 AM.  377-9580 is back as the main number for reservations and the pro shop! 

 

Congratulations to dB’s top junior Keri Frankenberger on earning a full tennis scholarship to LSU.  You’ll see her in SEC play and at the national level.

 

Congratulations to Tracey Begley and her USTA 5.0 team going to the national championships in Palm Springs, California in October.  They finished sixth out of 13 teams but number one in our hearts.
