We are gonna miss him, but Shane is off to the Big Easy - he has taken an Assistant Head Pro position at the Stone Creek Club and Spa. I know everyone joins me in wishing him the very best. The seedings held to form, and the #2 seeds Feussner and Tyree finished as finalists in the Men's Open Doubles at the Designated USTA Tournament - Rosemary Beach Open - May 14-17, 2009 out of a field of nine doubles teams. DB's pros did not go down without a fight - they just lost the first set, took the second set easily, but the #1 seeds prevailed - 7-5, 1-6, 6-3. Feussner and Tyree are ranked in the top 5 in Florida in Men's Open Doubles for 2009 and hope to achieve the number 1 ranking before year-end. Tyree also competed in the Men's Open Singles as the number 1 seed and went to the Semis, losing to Alexander Emory from Alabama. Marc Dunn joined Feussner and Tyree at the tournament, losing to Jonathan Clark, the number 2 seed in the Quarters. The Men's Open Singles had a field of 19 players.
